Tardies

At Timber Drive we feel that setting a pattern of timeliness fosters responsibility in our students as a life-long habit. Parental support and cooperation with being at school on time is required. Children will be allowed in the building when the first bell rings at 8:45. Instruction begins promptly at 9:15. To ensure your child has adequate time to prepare, students should arrive between 8:45 and 9:00. If a pattern of excessive tardies develops, parents will be contacted by the administration in the form of a letter, phone call or conference. Three tardies will equal an absence as it relates to requirements for make-up work, time, etc.
To accommodate family schedules, the YMCA has an early arrival and after school program at Timber Drive.
* Board Policy 6000.2 provides that to be counted present a student must be in attendance at least one-half of the student school day.
