About Us

Timber Drive Elementary opened in July, 1997, as a year round school in Garner, North Carolina.  Our mascot is the Timberwolf and our school colors are blue and green.  We are proud to offer a rigorous curriculum that is differentiated to meet the individual needs of our students.

In addition to focusing on our core curriculum, our students enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs. These include Kindness Club, Science Club, Safety Patrol, Chorus, and others.  We are proud of our special events that showcase the work and effort of our students and teachers, and connect our school to our families and community in positive ways. Examples of these events are DanceFest, Family Pack Nights, Howlabration, Read Across America Celebration, Breakfast and a Book, Field Day, and monthly Character Education awards.

Currently, all Timber Drive students and staff follow track 4 on the Wake County Public School System Year Round Schedule.  We are eager to share all of the wonderful things that are happening at Timber Drive Elementary School every day. We welcome you to our learning community.
